Yellow | We need time

pain why dont you quit. plenty of lesser paying jobs with no bennies out there that would be glad to have you and all the yes men .
leave fighting for our lifes to men and women with spines .
your willing to work till death for free go do charity at your local church ...but i dont work for free or even less then i can make in my own area with less stress!!.
KK with all due respect but not to many weeks ago i had and argument with my local pres. on the dock and had to explain to him we didnt get credit for time worked while pension was frozen . he argued and argued with me but then went and made a call and called me back and said he was wrong .
THATS WHAT MOST OF US ARE DEALING WITH FOR LOCAL LEADERSHIP
 
Blade you need to slow down and read the posts. I never said I was voting yes or no. I like a good debate but you are thinking of yourself and not the greater good for you or us. Remember we are in this together

i dont like to go to the "why dont you quit " line but thaught he needed to know how it burns me up when i see some1 say it because they are scared . wonder how the 40000 of 50000 other of or brothers and sisters feel who dont work here already because we voted to give their jobs away by only thinking "ill vote yes ill be safe"

I went to our meeting on Saturday out of eightynine employees only nine bothered to go to the meeting when you talk to someone they say they are voting no and bother to find out the facts

If we would have voted no the other twenty thousand would be unemployed by now

You say you want to debate the proposal, Then when someone has a different opinion you tell them to quit their job, or quit whining. Some debate.....
 
Oh no , if we had voted down the past concessions the company would have stopped fooling around and revealed all the billions of dollars they are hiding , rehired everyone on lay off and restored everything to the way it was in 1990. Oh and they would have replaced Zollars with Santa Claus while they were at it.

You don't know that to be a fact..... And never will. You must have been one of the ones who is still working everyday.........
Bet you feel different if you voted yes to believe you were saving jobs only to see over half of them outta work. How would you vote this time if you were still on lay-off?

my point exactly, I want to vote with a clear head and not with all the anger, because like the rest of us I am mad and P Off.
I have been around long enought to know that the people that sit on this board and moan and whine are the same people that never attended there meetings.
 
I believe your right. The proposals will be voted down and hopefully a plan B will be presented. But I doubt it. The interest payments are due Oct 31st and the investors who are waiting in the wings will bow out.

Facts were presented, Rumors were dispelled. And the few who came to the damn meeting came away with a better understanding of what is going on!
$120,000,00 in equity, $200,000,00 due in January on a note. Financing can be arranged only if the consessions pass.
Plan is to be out of debt by 2014. If the no votes win we liquidate the first of the year, No backruptcy! You are out of a $20 a hour job! How do you think the trucking job market will be with 25000 or so YRCW and about 2000 Fed-Ex drivers looking for work?
Don't think A.B.F. can use all of us!
I'm voting YES! Even if it only means I keep this job for 6-8 more months! It's better than unemployment!
And don't think of one frekin minute Congress or that Socialist in the White House will come running with any bailout money! WE ARE ON OUR OWN!
THERE WILL BE NO SECOND VOTE!

wait and see how fast they have the change of ops for the west coast and they are all shipped around and the rest on lay off. big mind changer there
