Ok. I understand what you are saying, and you are right...to a point.
Let's try this: You explain exactly how you think universal health care works. Lets say you were doing something around the house and all of a sudden you were laying on the floor and couldn't move. You have no idea what's wrong. Please explain how you think the universal health care process works from there.

There are three reasons I'm asking this
1. because I am constantly amazed at people who have such a strong opinion on this program, and I'm even more amazed when I hear how little they actually know about it.
2. You claim that the care is substandard.
3. This exact thing happened to me. (in a country with universal health care)

You tell me how you "think" the universal system would handle it, and I'll tell you exactly how it was "actually" handled.
I'm not trying to start anything. I'm simply trying to explain my point.
 
Are you really that blind "moonshiner4000" that you think obama is any more a socialist than bush and his goonies. The stimulus package he passed, the patriot act which stripped american rights, and just another example is the illegal wire tapes on american citizens. That is just some of the facts. It does not matter if you are republican or democrat there is going to be socialism on both sides. To me though it seems bush was more of a socialist so far. By the way I am sorry for you if you think obama is not your president but he is and he was voted in by a majority of the population, not like bush's first term where he did not win the majority of the vote.

We are probably closer than you think on this out of control Federal Government. The Republicans as well as the Democrats have been pushing this One World Order thing. Also both have , I think ,decided that the American people, as a hold, are no longer smart enough to live in a free society. So here comes the Socialism, but you are fooling yourself if you think Obama is not more of a socialist than Mccain. Do you really think this was the most quaified man for the job or maybe people voted for him because he is black.

You have a very valid comment about government thinking people are not smart enough to think for themselves. That is exactly what they want because they want us to live in fear so they can do whatever kind of agenda they have in mind. I guarantee you unless we are on the inside, we the people will be left in the dark unless we start getting more involved with the running of our government.

No PEOPLE voted for him as he was the better man for the job and for the democratic platform. They felt he was very intelligent and more steady and calm and preferred his hand on the button more than volatile McCain. They felt he was much better with our economic woes and as they showed in 2006, the people want this WAR ended and feel Obama will do this sooner as he said we need to stop spending so much THERE and cause McCain said if we have to be there 100 more years we will..hundred more years of billions a year going to here can't be sustained by this country;

In a speech that Bush made to the world in 2003, he said you are either with us or your with the terrorist, which side are you on? Wasn't it unamerican to be against your president! Obama is the president now so i guess that makes him "the decider" you people should get on board with him so he straighten this mess out so that he can fly a "mission accomplished"....I didn't like Bush but I back him because I wanted success for the U.S.. So I guess many of you are like Rush Limbaugh and want President Obama to fail but think about that and where would that leave us....Think of that when you wave american flag? :USA:

If the Rush Limbaugh thing is all you have you wasting your time, I think for myself and don't care for Limbaugh. I no longer wave the American flag. I'm no longer proud to be an American.

Obama is the President but I will not just shut up and support his policies when I don't fundamentally believe in them. No more than I supported Bush when he supported things that I didn't think were right. I refuse to just blindly follow any man. The problem with the supporters of our current President is that they have stopped thinking for themselves and are willing to do whatever he says. I won't do it. Not now, not ever.

We all see how the economy has acted since obama moved in. Fallen even further. And about ending the war, he just sent 17,000 to 20,000 more troops to Afghanistan. I see how he has listened to the people who elected him. Obama talked about change and hope during the election, but now that has changed to fear and despair. That's all he says now. We are in crisis. He said crisis over 25 times in a 30 minute speech the other day. Not instilling much confidence.
