Yellow | Will YRC Worldwide Survive 2011?

The old Quality process definitely had some advantages, it's a shame that most of the managers that embraced it have fallen by the wayside.

This may help the company. Maybe YRC can host a dodge ball game with their employees. Have the linehaul management vs drivers, or dock supervisors vs dock workers. Nothing wrong with getting some healthy exercise, while blowing off some steam. :::shit:::-talking would be allowed.

YRC STILL TOo TOP HEAVY, too many 100k salaries sitting around with nothing to do locally.
Overtime still doled out based on BROWN-NOSING. we leave freight sit before we give a regular guy OT, at the customer or on the dock, but will give OT to brown-nosers even if they have to drive in circles, or send straight-time people home to cover the hours.
we are not customer focused. yrc still wants to bully employees, this is more important than earning a profit.

Well stated! Customer service has to first and foremost BECAUSE they are the folks paying the bills! No customers, no money, no job. Leave them sit long enough and they find another carrier to replace YRC. Been there, done that. YRC wants control from the top down, don't ask questions or make a suggestion, just do it the way you were told to.
