Same at my place, all you have to do is point out the issue and it gets fixed.I know every barn is different, but it's been my personal experience that 'safety' isn't just a morning meeting talking point to pay lip-service to. If a driver or anyone else has a safety concern or suggestion to do something in a safer manner, it's taken seriously. If it's equipment, a vendor comes out and fixes the issue or it's sent into a shop. If it's a dock or yard safety concern or suggestion, it gets addressed or implemented if it's a valid idea.
This is not the culture at a lot of other transportation companies.
Lmao ! That’s funny right there !Same at my place, all you have to do is point out the issue and it gets fixed.
Do they not fix stuff at your barn?Lmao ! That’s funny right there !
Now that’s funny.Do they not fix stuff at your barn?
You must have a bad SCM if they don't fix safety issues at your barn. Now that’s funny.
Not without having to redtag it . You write it up & write it up and they do nothing . You finally get sick of it and red tag it , then all you hear is why the hell didvyou red tag it !?Do they not fix stuff at your barn?
That sounds like horrible management. If equipment isn't safe refuse to use it until it's fixed, it's your CDL if you get pulled overNot without having to redtag it .
