It’s with many good reasons that these things were not immediately adopted. It’s a flawed principle. Design is fine. But the technology is not yet available to support it. Make the prototypes now. Get patents. Wait for things to improve. Take in money. That’s business.
 
When asked by this reporter;
Will your truck be able to chain itself up?
Will your truck be able to navigate in blowing snow?
Will your truck be able to be pulled over for roadside inspections by law enforcement?
Will your truck be immune from hackers taking over control,and crashing it?
Will zero,to sixty,in 20 seconds cause any problems on entrance ramps, or low speed posted curves?
Will a tire failure permit the truck to pull over to the side of the road,and display warning triangles?
Musk responded, I’m not sure?
