I've got more years behind the wheel than you are old ,40 years means a lot of experience.Been here done that and so on.Your company is a mirror of consolidated freight ways.Your a number and nothing else like every one else.these companies there all the same.Wake up for Your Dream.
well if we were a mirror of CF we would be union then right????. Yes years ago CCX might have been a mirror of CF and it also put CF and other union carriers out of business. Now today we are nothing like CF we make money.

No the site owner made the rules.
And you don’t follow them while being a baby and demanding we follow your rules. Truely stupid.

I'll answer that like you would, go back and look it up.
I have and I can’t find a single post from you that fits within the rules you demand I follow. That seems to be all you do. Make demands and run your mouth.

Nope, you throw a jab and I'll reply in kind
That’s a lie. As you’ve ahown in the past, facts don’t matter in your world. My first interaction with you was you calling me a crackhead.

This is kinda of funny. The union even explains it to you everything freezes benefits, PTO, and even your pay. The only exception to that are the pre plan raises for the new hires until they get to top pay. That is the only scheduled raise that XPO has to honor.
You can't have one without taking the others. If you want the pay you have to take the PTO and the benefit changes too.
The company has to adhere to "past practice" if they make changes every year then ya they have to accept the changes.[/QUOTE]
and there were changes to the insurance "past practice" like you said. Now if the company went after them for the changes there would be a big up roar and the union will say how evil the company is. I posted a link before from a union web page saying that

Post it and I’ll own it

So just so I'm clear on this, you are attacking Sucker 666 for ignoring or not answering your question? What about you ignoring a very simple question I asked of you?

No you danced around and deflected, but you never answered.
I read every page up till about page 40 looking for that post. I found these gems. Remember when you were making fun of me because I was frustrated that people wouldn’t answer my questions? Funny how things change when people don’t answer your questions.

Got this off Facebook the driver is from Miami and does mention the company is going to appeal the judges finding in their case as expected.

"As expected"?? Nice pivot. Before, it was a done deal, the company was guilty, post the notice and write the checks. Now look at you with all of this grace and understanding. Proud of you, kid- that's progress.

Notice he didn't say what those 38 TAs cover, because people would laugh. I know what's not in them- anything people actually care about (pay and benefits), because he said that hasn't even been discussed yet.

I might have missed it, but did he say what he thought might make the company concede to any of their demands? New rhyming signs and posters about greed? Big inflatable rats? Long shot labor charges? The part about the appeal being disrespectful was just too funny.

So why would that not apply to insurance and benefit changes that are made pretty much every year? Not scheduled, but certainly "past practice".

The fact that the company froze the benefits at a lower cost rate for the union barns at the same time they froze their pay when negotiations started shows a good faith effort to follow the law. Whether or not that makes it hard for the unions to sell their product is not XPOs problem.

You're the biggest loser on this site, I don't normally comment on here, I've been retired for 10 years now from a Union company. You always say answer my question but no one knows what the ****ing question is. This page is all about the Union drive, if you don't want it that's fine don't drag everyone down that wants it. I joined the Union in 1975 and I can tell you I did better than any non-union person ever did, I don't know what you're afraid of. You pay Union dues for what they do for you, and I can guarantee I made much more than the non-union guys did. The Union is about making more money and better benefits and a fair days wage for a fair days work, and I hope you never become a Teamster. The Union is only as as strong as the members and they don't need you.

Let me change up the tone, if even for a minute. I liked Conway before LEAN. I gave XPO a chance and so far, key aspects of the business are getting worse. So in short. I liked Conway, I don't like XPO and I like being in a labor union less. If and when I have had enough, I'll go away and work somewhere else. Unions are dead, the Teamsters are dead, pensions are dead. No one gives a crap about whether or not a union contractor got the job, or if the union worker is driving the truck, and certainly many people, at least that I know, resent the hell out of the teachers' unions and the federal workers' unions. So, one more time. I'll quit this job another non-union carrier before I get on the union band wagon.

I’m attacking both. It’s too bad you don’t hold yourself to the same lofty standards you hold us to.
You said you were done engaging with me. You can’t keep your own promises. That makes you a liar.
You said you were done playing games, but the first thing you did was make an ignorant comment questioning if I asked a question. That makes you a hypocrite.
You make arbitrary rules about comments having to have merit or original thought. What have you provided that has merit or original thought? When you make your rules, you get your panties in a bunch and start insulting people when they don’t follow them. Despite all of that, you can’t follow the rules of this forum. It’s clear to everyone here, you have double standards.
You don’t work here, yet you argue about what’s best for those that do. That makes you clueless.
Tell me wise one, what great input have you provided to this forum? What insight have you blessed us with?
Ignore those questions. Not because you think it’s funny, but because you can’t probide answers.
I promise you nothing I give you nothing.TGIF I don't work with a wimp ,You reap what you sew.

No, this page is not about the union drive. It’s about information on union/non union thoughts in our company. I will never be a teamster. Corrupt organization in my mind. Would consider a union with some morals and ethics however.

As for what a union can do, go spend some time on any of the union company pages here. That’s enough for me to see they really can’t/ don’t do much for the employee.

So no names called?
Me not being able to find a proverbial needle in a haystack doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I showed you post where you were doing exactly what you chastised me for. You didn’t own that and in fact didn’t even acknowledge it, as expected. I knew you wouldn’t be a man of your word and own anything. Carry on doing what you do.

I’m happy my comments spurred you to post. It sounds like you have a lot of insight to share. Get involved and ask questions. I’m sure you’ll like it.
If you’re going to call me a loser, it would help your cause if you actuallly knew what this thread was about. Like others, don’t let facts ruin your opinions.
When the Union makes their quarterly appearance, I’ll let them know you said they don’t want me.
