we were told by our TM and the vp that toured around begging for yes vote. that they need $ and work rule changes so they can finish up all the change of opps asap. guess that would be the west coast and what ever mid west they missed and some other little 1s in the east .and to fix some of the ones they screwed up the last time
 
if you guys want a good laugh at my company's expense, go to google and type "fedex is " and see what pops up

Yellows billions in revenue can be had for free once UPS and FedEx or the YRC no way employees blows it out of the water. Why would they buy it? They just buy at the auction what they need. The bankruptcy auction

just a suggestion but maybe you should go enjoy your retirement while you still have 1 .
is there a prize for most post'? is that what you are going for ?

:LMAO::LMAO:........I dont care who you are. Thats funny.....Seems like there are a few on here who have already broke 1000 post in 2 short months.........It took me over 2 yrs to break 1000 post........

That may have been true when it was just Roadway but not anymore. YRCW has to much debt. And in this slow economy why would anyone want to pick up more debt. I know UPS could buy this company out right but why take on the headaches that they are trying to get rid of. Namely the multi- employer pension fund.No body wants to pay for something and get nothing in return .I know I wouldn't pay someone's pension who didn't work for me. As I'm sure many of you wouldn't either. It was OK to as Obama says spread the wealth around .But the fact is why should a few trucking companies be blamed for the mistakes of others. That's what it amounts to.

But if they bought and merged, we would no longer be in the multi-employer pensions as UPS bought themselves out of that plan, we would fall under their plan

Because as diluted as it is,we are still under the NMFA and there are provisions for this .I do not believe UPS wants anything to do with YRC although I would be happy to be wrong..
