Rollin62, you are probably a nice person but when you are new to a job it is a good idea to stay out of the politics of any company until you have been there long enough to KNOW what is going on. How long have you worked for ABF now? How many checks have you received?

Becuz,( real abf teamsters correct me if im wrong) if all the supplimenta go thru and abf gets the contract signed and in place, arent they going to have a COO of some sort? And if they do the "buddy system" doesnt apply at a union outfit. So alot of times with a COO there are downsizing, and thebottom of the senority board get the pink slip. And that my friend would be you. Since im pretty sure you started (supposedly) at abf a month or two ago. So becareful for what you are yelling for.

It's sooooo good now that we have dead weight worthless middle management cruising the regions sucking up a free paycheck. Upper management needs to surveil their middle managers a little. No contract language necessary to clean up that dead wood.

i appreciate your respect of my opinion. These other players just want me to go away and not have a voice. I don't know why they don't think I'm a newbie. I probably do have a lot to learn but I'm entitled to an opinion as a newbiePeople, people, people, Rollin62 has a right to his opinion anda forum like this is a good place for him to voice that opinion. We, those ofus who have been working for ABF for a while, know his opinion will change overtime. I don’t think I have met a single employee who did not start out likingthe job (that is why they applied) and who did not end up disliking it. I don’tbelieve Rollin62 will be any different. I applaud his tenacity and state ofmind in defending what he believes in but he is new. Again, HE IS NEW! Newpeople don’t know much; that is why they need training. Rollin62 is no different.
My point is please let this person enjoy their fantasy whilethey can; reality will set in quick enough. Good luck Rollin62 and I hope thethings you post here do not come back to bite you.
