Bribes???? unreal ... they try correct problems its called a bribe...can't make this **** up...if these problems come back i won't sat a word...mean while YRC/atm is hiring bye bye...
As a previous post stated a lot of drivers could not last 3 days without the money. FedEx has a little more money than the average driver so I think they could withstand a lengthy shutdown easier than the drivers. The dock workers will remain and be able to load the PT's. Not to mention that Fred has other sources of revenue.then we stand together and shut down all the centers

Ugh! It really frustrates me that guys an gals see the problems, but want to stay neutral. Everyone knows why scorecard and crazy corrective action went away! Yet I had 2 drivers tell me they would sign a card after fedex signs a contract.
Buddy of mine said it best. They don't want to stick their neck out, but they want to get in line when the candy is passed out.
REALLY!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FedEx Freight employees only (please ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Typical anti union bs point. Fear of a strike. Welcome to TB.

While I for one can understand yours and others frustration with some drivers that haven't made their minds up, I would caution some of you that resort to labeling or chastising them. Not everyone is afraid to stick their neck out or wants to wait till the coast is clear. Maybe its that for some they got into trucking because of the independence, have gotten where they are in life going it alone, have pulled their weight, done their part, been mindful of others plights, coexisted amongst a group operation yet remain an outsider by choice. And now for this movement to work some have to come to grips with being part of "the group" for essentially the first time in their adult lives. It could be many things. But this nonsense about being self centered, chicken ****, weak, must be from the me generation, etc doesn't accomplish anything, nor does always labeling union people as lazy or non-union supporters as buttkissers or teachers pets. While we all can be guilty of saying that stuff at times its what really makes me cringe.....being amidst a group with those that seem to always think that way and can't for one second fathom that there might be other genuine reasons for the way some are. But that's just me. If only things were so simpleUgh! It really frustrates me that guys an gals see the problems, but want to stay neutral.
