i agree. all truck drivers r brillant & all dispatchers r dumb & scum. hammer down.
I've been totally blessed by God to of had all of my Teamster, and non-union working years right around where I live.
I've always been able to be a city driver, with some dock work as well.
Never any linehaul, except for a very few special weekend trips filling in for vacations.
Its been a great career,I'm still going to drive when I retire this coming March.
I'm changing careers in that I'm going to be driving a school bus for my local school district.
I will be collecting the small union pension with my 20.2 years of credit.
Sorry to say it was all from the early years.
I'm also going to be getting a pension I've earned for my nearly 22 years of credit with Overnite/UPS Freight.
I plan on leaving my social security ride, untill such time as I get sick of being a bus driver.
I'd stick with trucking, but I just can't handle working with the high demands of UPS.
