The Loose Screws are the "doctors" using inferior equipment.
Is it better to be screwed or hammered?
A friend in Delaware had some knee surgery and the "doctor" hammered a shim or rod (a wee bit too thick) into her knee bone/knee structure therein causing great pain in her lower back, left hip and foot. The foot is still numb after 6+ months and the leg is a wee bit longer.
"doctors" that desperately need some "patient therapy" are nationwide.
well i was told that in the area in which he had to use the screws, there just isn't much "area" to do so.
my right leg still at times kicks out from under me as i walk. in bed, if i roll over (which i do several times) i get a pain from the butt area all the way down the leg.
left foot is still numb as well, but at least, i can walk on it.
i myself am of the thinking that the area he put the last 2 screws into, may be of a "thinner" bone than say the vertebrae as in the past, check the CT/MRI pics i posted a little ways back.
i did not go to p/t ASAP like the last operation. i waited, and frankly, i am glad i did. i was totally against p/t right after surgery back in 2014. to me, it was too darned quick, like about 2 weeks after the operation?
BS, give a person TIME to heal, like say about 1 to 2 months.
i seem to recall my very first back operation in 2001, NO p/t for about 4 months.
yes, times change, but as well as one's body. i do not think an older person can take p/t right out the gate.
so anyway's, i came home a short time ago, and started using this bone stimulator gadget.
the gal said it is set up for only 30 minutes, the doc wanted 1 hour a day.
she said none of these are for more than 30 minutes....
i asked her the price...
she said it is dependant on the insurance company.
some insurances will only pay $1,000
some will pay $5,000
then guess what, after 9 months, you have to toss them into the trash. they cannot be reported for another patient....
but this time, i will have a GREAT travel bag..!!
the insert of foam in this one fully comes out. my last one, it was glued in....(the foam keeps the device neatly stored and safe from damages)
cool.......free (anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 travel bag.....!!!!!)
