Yellow | Daily bill count-system wide

If you check the bill count for the last week, Monday thru Friday,it will average out to 43,924! Round that upward to 44k and it still falls short of the 46k that they talk about.I think the daily bill count could be off, but not by 2,000 a day!

Ahhh....but do not forget...this last COO was going to be based on THEIR numbers that claimed an average of 50K per day...BULLSHIT!....Then it was adjusted to reflect 41.5K per day after they were called out for THEIR numbers being wrong....the stock price sucks.....but it is the bill count we all should watch and be concerned about as the true indicator here!.....KK

This manager is no bull :shit:ter, however like you said it was a conference call and who knows what they are shoveling on the other end.
I do know that our bill count has gone up from lows of 500 some days to lows of 750 now.

I don't know what all the hoop-la is about getting the bill count up. The pos company loses money on every shipment so until the morons figure out how to fix it( :biglaugh:)they'll just go bankrupt that much sooner with more business. 17 cents a share, that tells the confidence factor of Wall Street. You don't think customers see that.

bill count means nothing if revenue per hundred weight is down. anyone know that figure?
The last time I saw it was a comparison between 1st Q 2010 and 1st Q 2009: it showed a .04% increase year over year.

Remo - just a question. What was the bill count a year ago at this date. Are those numbers available. That is the best gauge of what a company is doing.
It has to be at least 20% better than last year, to get any future approvals in loans.

can somebody post daily bill count during 2009? It's hard to judge 2010 daily bill count without a year-over-year comparison. Thanks.

I don't believe that YoY is a good gauge in this case.

Huge market share loss at the end of 2009 (due to going out of business scare) + major downsizing in then 1st Q 2010 = brand new game.

A better gauge would be QoQ.
