You guys are all talk. I've heard that :: for years, long before I even started at SAIA. Lost by one vote. Remember that hot shot. This time round it wouldn't even be close. If it even comes to that. Not at all. ..smart ass...you will see soon ....a whole lot of drivers dont like taking meat...like some of yall meat lovers
Yeah and couple guys say that's why we might get a nice raise cause of upset drivers about this camera. 1 driver said he heard it from a pretty nice source, cause Saia already losing sum drivers at barns but we will seeFrom what I am hearing on the LInehaul Gossip Network, There are a lot of drivers, who wouldn't even consider signing a union card, but are now so pissed off about the inward facing cameras, that, if a union talking point was that those cameras would be gone, may just get their attention.
You just keep your knee pads fresh and your eyes open like your mouthYou guys are all talk. I've heard that :::: for years, long before I even started at SAIA. Lost by one vote. Remember that hot shot. This time round it wouldn't even be close. If it even comes to that.
The Union could do nothing to save their jobs. That's exactly my point with the whole Union issue. Despite some of the issues we have just like all other companies this I can say without any doubt. The UNION is not the answer. They have no teeth and no leverage. They care nothing about their members. They care about one thing and one thing only. Getting re-elected so they can keep taking home the members money. Totally disgraceful.Sysco has the forward and driver facing cameras. I was union at my domicile and can tell you our local could do next to nothing to try and save guys jobs if they broke any rules Sysco has on their camera policy. Some of the violations are very foolish and have caused many drivers to not care anymore. I'm definitely for safety but not at the expense of making drivers nervous or not caring anymore. Safety starts with having the proper attitude. Overbearing corporate policies like Sysco's have driven morale down to a scary level. I wouldn't trust the company long term to not use something like this to thin the herd. I've seen it first hand. Sysco was offering $7500 sign on bonuses to get new hires then do nothing but playing games with long tenured employees.
While I don't agree with everything there I will agree the IBT (at least my local) was a joke on the cameraThe Union could do nothing to save their jobs.
