FedEx Freight | Don't Be Shy ... Tell Us Your Praise or Complaints of your job Part 2

It was 5:40 in the afternoon you idiot. Pretty sure it wasn't dark in California at that time....get the facts before you post.
You can forget about any future raises at FedEx Freight. You cannot tell me that this recent accident in Northern California, where a new driver plowed head on into a tour bus, and killed 10 people, and burned a few more. I'm sure FedEx will change their hiring practices, putting new drivers in a set of doubles, with only weeks of training in some FedEx parking lot, with lazy, know it all senior driver trainers. Besides, how many hours did this driver work the dock, then get in a set, and drive down a dark, lonely, freeway back to his terminal.

Have some respect for starters and secondly think before you post something foolish like this Sir.

Your a frickin idiot! So now DRIVER DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTORS are lazy know it alls. I don't appreciate that at all. You have no idea what happened here, nor do I. DDIs I work with are some of the best people around. Always willing to help out others. Keep your rude comments to your self. This is a tragedy, and your worried about your raises and bonus. Wow.

Quite a reach here, donkey divot. Just because someone has been a line driver for a year you assume that they are a new hire, fresh out of our school?

Hello All Fedex drivers, I am a former Fedex driver from Nashville, Tn. I left last summer with 24.5 years of service.I met some really nice people over the years with Fedex.A big company with lots of management
eating up their profits .The workers could not do their job for all the e-mailers in management. They were always looking to fire the driver or dock worker that was actually making them money. Maintenance was very
poor on their equipment, trucks with no power and lots on miles on them.On my last day, the terminal manager did not have enough back bone to shape my hand. I was allowed to leaf the terminal without an escort. The pay was good, but after 12 -14 hours per day it should be and the time away from family. I watched so many drivers health fail to sitting all the long hours in the truck day after day. Stay safe and best
wishes to all you drivers. Remember their is more to life than money. We will answer to God in the at some point when life here is over for us .

Best wishes, Gravytrain

Anymore it's just a job. Put in your time at work, collect your check and hope that your least favorite manager is made available to the industry.
