Here at Averitt, we have that policy, I dont agree with it, but what can you do?.....also we cant have any visible tattoos, sideburns, earrings or jewelry, shorts cant be below the knee, no long hair, no caps other than company caps...etc....blah blah blah. I think its stupid, but thats the corporate world. I know some guys at Fedex, that have so many tattoos, I dont know what they are gonna do.....but all that crap doesnt affect your ability to deliver freight, hell the tattoo guys are some of the best drivers they have!! And their customers love them!!! The only way around facial hair, is that you have to have a doctors excuse, and then you HAVE to wear a full beard!....stupid....
