FedEx Freight | FDXF Health options

Then move.

A majority of ANY companies had pretty decent healthcare till ObamaCare came along and demanded they pay for all kinds of crap MOST people didn't need.

Screwed up everyone's healthcare and most CERTAINLY didn't result in "IF YOU LIKE YOUR DOCTOR OR HEALTHPLAN YOU CAN KEEP IT" (lying :censored:).

So even today our health plans are still mandated to pay for Obamacare BS because it's never been repealed.

Funny how some companies stomach the rising cost of healthcare, and others just make excuses and pass it on to their employees. I think it's sad when the company gets a 2.8 billon dollar tax break then raises insurance premiums that same year. :scratchhead:

Name me one company who has not passed along cost increases to their employees since Obamacare was enacted 5 years ago.

Ok here's one union carhaul just went to the doctor for yearly check up got flu shot, blood work, etc my cost out of pocket 20 bucks, plus the fact that Central states has improved in some other areas . Went to the dentist x-rays, cleaning, etc cost out of pocket 0 dollars and thats 2 times a year. My wife has one script that would cost me almost 400 for a 3 month supply but after teamcare pays only 139 for a 3 month supply thats the biggest I pay out of pocket.

Oh wait, you said just one? Never mind, I'll stop there.
The cost still is there and generally gets passed on one way or another.......wages, reduced OT, layoffs, equipment, technology, cheaper truck parts, less padding in forklift seats, fewer pens in the office, you name it......

Thank you for proving my point. We have enough excuses to fill up ocean, meanwhile record profits roll in. For once it would be nice to see Fed ex reinvest in their workforce rather than make excuses on why not to.

I'll agree, EXCEPT when it comes to O.T. and layoffs. You still need engaged workers to bring in revenues. FedEx always wants to limit costs. But we know when short-handed, that creates a problem servicing customers, and the revenue they provide. Vicious cycle.

Just to clarify: Overtime or layoffs are strictly based on market conditions and the available workforce, and are not discretionary gifts/penalties. Pens and seat padding? Perhaps. But costs to provide healthcare coverage are NOT really a factor in those decisions.

Ya, so now tell me now why UNION health plans didn’t pass along costs. I’ll serve up the crow when you reply.
And every single one of the NMFA companies is either Long gone in bankruptcy or holding on by a thread to a shrinking Market share that will eventually Squeeze them out to the point of asking for big Concessions to Stay Afloat. (YRC)

It’s called freedom, dumbass. Go get a job at UPSF, YRC, etc if you think they have better benefits. Seems like a pretty easy choice. Nobody is keeping you chained to your steering wheel

Listen rookie I have been here a lot longer than you. If I want to complain about our insurance or anything else I will, if you don't like it put me on ignore. You seem to like to ignore facts anyways with you're ignorant posts.

Don't know what happened to your post but I will respond to it anyways. That is where they get these guys they are looking at 1 portion of benefits package (pay) and not even thinking about our crummy insurance or non existent retirement, but hey if that's all your worried about go for it.

You may not be aware, Unions were (are still?) EXEMPT. The cost, if incurred, could not be passed along without an agreed to contract.

As for eating crow? You asked for one company. Seems to me the burden is on you to prove I'm wrong. I'll wait. :smile new:

Sorry somehow my post got posted in your quote so I deleted it.
My point was that FDXF has Decided that Higher starting wages and a shorter progression is a better game plan for the demographic that they are trying to recruit. That demographic is young & healthy . The Free market will decide if that game plan will continue. This notion that you are entitled to someone else's money because they have so much is a Socialist mentality and is the opposite of how a capitalist society works. You can work wherever and for whoever you would like in this country . If you have decided that higher coverage health care is a priority then you have options to seek those out at UPSF,ABF,YRC . But you will be giving up something that is hard to quantify in chasing the perfect wage and benefit package.
