Where did the 6 hours come from?
Talked to someone today.Starting the 27th.The handheld will be linked to payroll system&your punch in&out from lunch will go to payroll system.Don't know much else.Except was told here we will have to take lunch within 6 hours..Suppose to have meeting sometime before then.
Also something to think about.Testing Peoplenet software I have always been told that the handheld will be linked to Peoplenet system when they get to that point.
Yep that's what I thought the 27th. Did they give you guys the paper about it? I can post it when I get back today. It gives a little more info about it
No paper.We haven't had a meeting.I asked&told very little info.We will see.Interesting..
Yea neither have just the paper sitting out for us to take lol. Probably a little where you are have probably 10 times as many drivers as we do .. only 7 of us where I'm at
We will all find out when we do it wrong and get written up for it
This is nuts... I think much of the problem is every state has different labor laws. I would just have drivers take a lunch between 4-6 hours. That would cover OD in the states that require you to take a lunch and the ones that don't could do what they want.
We due for our monthly safety,OS&D meeting .Prob be next Tuesday morning will hear more for sure.Im for it.Anything to guarantee my lunch within 8 hours.Always hated when they exempted the local on the 8 hour rule.
We have the same scanner s you guys do
Scanners&operating system may be the same. But,OD does all there programming for all system's we use from Dock,P&D,etc themselves. We have our own Programming&IT Dept's.
Ya pretty much all companys do
That's why everyone company will be different.
From our TM. I meant to say between our 6th and 8th hour not before, my bad
Our's been like this since last week....
Thats funny.....at hear we were told to ignore the MSG....I guess they didn't get the paper either,,,,,,,lol
Maybe you can see it clear enough. This is what we were giving.
So the REST BREAKS will not be deducted, but the LUNCH/MEAL STOP will.?
The times for the rest breaks and the lunch/meal stops are very close. Why not take them all together. Ever try to find a place to park, buy some hot food and eat/relax in 30min and not be disturbed by dispatch.
They never said anything about paid rest breaks when I was in the city... Is this new?
