Merger?? Trimming the fat? Not like we'll know before it's too late. Why is fedex changing some next day points to 2 day points? We are supposed to be the leader in the industry yet are competitors are gonna have next day service where we provide 2 day to same point?

In short , because our two day service is on an even keel with everyone else.
Plus it would eliminate some road runs.

Again, can confirm that Kim is out. The atl terminal manager has been out for a while. Talked to a supervisor last night and he said they had been investigating and interviewing employees for months about stuff. Also said he's getting out of dodge lol. What a circus.

How is Saia or Estes delivering KCY next day and now we do it in 2 even keel???:duh:
Thats just one point.
FedEx hauls more freight than any LTL, and charges the most.
You think they're using us for our purple shirts?
I'm in the Midwest, our transit times are consistently better than Saia or Estes.

The simple answer is Saia and Estes have faster trucks.

The KCY-NAS pm run was comical when they first changed it from a 2&2 to a meet. KCY driver had 642 miles with a via on the way there and back.

Then put the laydown back on. They actually moved the run the last bid to shorten for KCY. Don't give me the plandemic garbage either. We have extra board laying down all the time. We look pathetic. HELL central transport does next day to kcy.

Something is coming.. I've seen this B.S. before.

Again, visitor here. Only knowledge I have of FXF comes from you guys. Well, except the “pick it up here, move it there, try not to damage it”. Where I’m at, I can’t believe the ::shit:: show going on. Hate to say common sense is a fix all, but jeez. If the business has altered, adjust. Feel like the Lions. Successful teams make necessary adjustments at halftime when needed. 1980 called, want their business plan back. Wtf.

On the topic of Strickland, it looks like they are hiring 2 people to fill THAT spot, PLUS there is also an opening for Employee Relations Specialist. Interesting.

THESE are the positions I'd like to have. The positions that need some added credibility. It looks like location is irrelevant.

Should I apply?:stirthepot:

Safety man told me you can overcome this 62 mph by keeping your left door closed and hammer down.

I remember a newbie driver complaining about company trucks only running 60 at the time when speed limits were much lower than now, (some states like Illinois were 55MPH). An older driver told him he was getting paid by the mile & he would not get one dime sitting in a truck stop complaining.
