If they think ( XPO management ) that it will make the drivers more productive , then it will happen.Companies don't develop products to give them away. Much like inside delivery, this will be a premium service. I highly doubt XPO is going to lower EBITA just to see what the drivers are doing.
Will it make them more or less productive? If they think ( XPO management ) that it will make the drivers more productive , then it will happen.
I could not say yes or no to that. When people know they are being watched they behave differently. Will it make them more or less productive?
Less productive IMO.Will it make them more or less productive?
I tend to agree. I think it will anger most drivers and it will encourage them to cover it, or hide from it.Less productive IMO.
Yes, or actually slow down in the name of safety.I tend to agree. I think it will anger most drivers and it will encourage them to cover it, or hide from it.
Anger more drivers and speed up the union process!I tend to agree. I think it will anger most drivers and it will encourage them to cover it, or hide from it.
If you mess with their camera and they catch you your next step will be out the door.I tend to agree. I think it will anger most drivers and it will encourage them to cover it, or hide from it.

They will all do the same thing sooner or later.....Send more drivers to other carriers that don't do stupid :::: like this.
You can blame the driver all you want, the driver is acting as an agent for the company making it the company's liability. This is the hook.... But if you can blame the driver and avoid having the company be responsible for just one lawsuit the extra cost will pay for itself.
In what possible scenario would the driver be at fault and the company not liable? This is the hook.... But if you can blame the driver and avoid having the company be responsible for just one lawsuit the extra cost will pay for itself.
Personally, I'm not bothered by the current drive cams. I get called in about twice a year for video reviews. Not that big of a deal and I think that indicates I'm a pretty safe driver. If they were to start monitoring us while on break, I would have a problem with it. That being said, I don't think they will.Yes, or actually slow down in the name of safety.
