Well just like the rest waiting on monday. two yrs in Sidney and now its being closed like the rest of the relay yards and now its time to move back down to Denver. Not surprised by this just thought they would keep us in Nebraska to run the freight across 80 to stay away from the out of route miles.

CGT is a freight hub about 270 doors. It is Chicago Heights Illinois, on Joe Orr rd. 1 block off of rt.30 just a couple miles from Indiana border.

Well I am a new freight driver and i look at it like this. Fed Ex is not loosing ANY freight volume by doing this. They had x amount of freight before merger and they are going to have x amount of freight after. They needed Y amount of trucks to move that freight before and will need y amount of trucks after. I do not see how the drivers are going to be greatly affected. The people that will not be neede when terminals close are the management and office workers.
