Thanks brother!

No CDL ?

I belive that a CDL will sooner or later make a difference wheather you will survive this industry. Take their schooling while the price is right. No Drive No work !
Many a percenter sits home while a junior man rakes in the $$ all because of a CDL

Thanks stan is the coo posted anywhere we can read it?

Is this in stone or pencil, because we were told Pittsburgh was only getting 2 utilities. 7 just seems to be on the high side unless we start pulling BUF, LCP,COL(NSH), and CVE. We Were just supposed to pull RFO.

All of the above info is why the companies are paying 250 bucks for you to obtain a CDL. I think there is going to be a lot of unhappy people within the 2 companies!

Does this affect road work? Will there be an additional COO for the road? That is, so road can bid on these utility positions.

I know some states if your laid off the state pays to train you in a vocation. Anyone laid off should contact the unemployment office to see if their state has a program, I know we had one guy in COL use it.. He's got everything and is company certified, just waiting to get called back.

I haven't seen the meat and taters of the change but some of these plus UE terminal #'s smell like gravy meet turns. ie: Harrisburg, Little Rock, Columbus, Texarkana, Louisville, and Maybrook.

Thanks for all of the thank you's

Thanks for all of the thank you's, but the thanks really goes to the unnamed Labor Relations man from the North East Region who gave them to me. Furthermore, he asked that his name not be mentioned, naturally. Finally, I am not sure if it is posted yet anywhere else at this time, but not to my knowledge.
