Lol. Really? Paid for not working. Huh. How did that work out for yellow? As they should be.
Other LTL carriers give linehaul drivers that run 450 miles or more and 500 miles or more the option to not work the dock . They also get paid while waiting for loads . If you think that was why YRC couldn’t make it you are obviously an idiot .Lol. Really? Paid for not working. Huh. How did that work out for yellow?
I have no issue with dsr’s choosing to work the dock or not. But if your paid, why would you work?Other LTL carriers give linehaul drivers that run 450 miles or more and 500 miles or more the option to not work the dock . They also get paid while waiting for loads . If you think that was why YRC couldn’t make it you are obviously an idiot .
Yrc couldn’t make it because they had **** poor management. That’s obvious.Other LTL carriers give linehaul drivers that run 450 miles or more and 500 miles or more the option to not work the dock . They also get paid while waiting for loads . If you think that was why YRC couldn’t make it you are obviously an idiot .
Not sure about other barns, but my fac can’t keep dockworkers. Is anyone aware how the dockworker situation is at the pilot barns?I’m mostly interested in hearing anecdotal evidence of people’s experience with the pilot, first, second, or third hand. That, or conjecture about how this might shake out for drivers and affect how linehaul operations are run going forward. Not debate about pay structure, other companies, etc.
Really yellow closed because of corporate greed and bad managementLol. Really? Paid for not working. Huh. How did that work out for yellow?
Really? And you're an XPO linehaul driver, or do you work for someone other than XPO?I drive 570 miles around trip I refuse to work the dock I tell them I need time to myself to recharge but most time they have them ready
As they should be. FedEx Freight we are paid at night after our 30 min drop (220 miles or more) and on day runs we are paid 30 min after we gate into the meet no matter how short the run isI’m hearing it’s not working already. Dsr’s want to be paid while they wait for loads.
As it was explained , you wait ON DUTY for your trailers to be loaded. If you are on duty waiting , seems as though you should be paid.I’m hearing it’s not working already. Dsr’s want to be paid while they wait for loads.
Your time is not worth anything?Lol. Really? Paid for not working. Huh. How did that work out for yellow?
Are you a driver . Let’s not talk about pay …. Lol.I’m mostly interested in hearing anecdotal evidence of people’s experience with the pilot, first, second, or third hand. That, or conjecture about how this might shake out for drivers and affect how linehaul operations are run going forward. Not debate about pay structure, other companies, etc.
Good point. What I meant is it doesn't do anyone any good to debate or complain about things we can't change, i.e. whether they will pay drivers to wait. (They already do under certain circumstances as we all know, like after 1st hour on M&T, for example.) My philosophy is, put everything on the paysheet and see if they send it back. It usually flies no problem. Are you a driver . Let’s not talk about pay …. Lol.
