I do the same thing, I do depend on it heavily especially in new areas, but after a few times I don't type in destination but just use it for speed management and alternate routes.

JM,you still working in Newburgh???I spent the day there yesterday...
I wonder if I saw ya?
Welp, instead of P&D, Im gonna be a hub driver, running nights.
Anybody with experience in that area?
Get your sleep and remember what your wife and kids look like..LOL.. Naw, I couldn't do it to ya driva... Hub is a good gig.. You laying down somewhere or going back home? The lay-downs aren't bad, if you get to stay in the motel... But I think they are trying to cut out a lot of lay-downs, especially if they don't produce...
Should be home daily, since it's only from Paducah, KY to Nashville,TN and back. So I'll prolly be doing a lot of dock work.
Sounds good.As long as you don't have 14 trucks to take to the shop(like I had), it should be a good gig for ya... Probably no more than 3 or 4 hours a night on the dock... Helps break up the boredom and you can take your lunch break there and not have to stop on the way back....
Sounds good.
So a Hub driver is a utility driver/linehaul mix then?
