Will Hoodock take his words back?
Not at all!!! He's been short fused through out his career.

I 'd call it damage control, now people will see him as being the other victim of this tragic accident. Had he raced today many in the press and on social media would have crucified him for being a selfish cold hearted person. I think it would have added momentum to those in the media who want to sensationalize this accident..............
Corporate decision in all likely hood.

Ohhhhhh, I don't know about that. He has had a lot to say about others pulling some of the same stunts that he has done. He caused a 23 car wreck blocking at Talladega and then has the nerve to criticize a couple of new drivers for blocking him. Isn't he the guy who said he'd wreck his own mother to win a championship? In recent years he's been quite calm in reality.
Oh shut up. You don't know what your talking about.

I have to agree with hoodock that it was a corporate decision. You're talking big business here. I'll bet Zippy got an earful of calls from NASCAR and unhappy corporate sponsors over his "business as usual" press release.
No sense arguing with the president of the Tony Stewart fan club!!
Regardless of whether Tony Stewart wanted to get back in the car today or not, the sponsors, the team and Tony's manager make that decision.
Another thread ruined by Stoney. He's a different type of special. Know what I mean ?
Glad Tony sat out. Probably was a PR move. With as much as social media is playing a part in everything right now. And with as much attention as this has gotten.
But to claim it was his conscience or that he isn't hot headed ? Ummm he hit and killed a guy with his car last night and immediately proclaimed he was racing today.
That's a heartless XXXhole if ever.
How did I ruin the thread? Don't like my opinions, then go away.
Looks to me Kevin killed himself. Rule #1 in life, don't walk in front of a car.
I notice you refuse to address any of the errors in your thoughts.
Also good to see you have a new #1 rule. It'll be fun to throw that back in your face later.
We don't like your opinions. The rest of the world isn't going to disappear. And eventually, THANK GOD, you will.
It's been years. And still the same Stoney. Are you ever going to learn ? You can't learn if you don't listen. Be a good boy Stoney.
I notice Northern Flash seems to agree with you a lot. Did we make a second account to back up the crazy ?
Like the rest of us needed an echo ?
Not everything is corporate control. You guys act as if Tony is a heartless robot controlled by Bass Pro Shops.
