I am happy everyday that UPS sold the freight division. It would just be a casualty of Sean O'Briens ego.

Sorry, but the job changed on the 2nd bid in 2006... and hasn't stop changing. Lost count of the change of operations so far... there was another one just a few months ago. Here it keeps changing and changing, and changing.

well, if you are at Saia, and you are close to your 10 year service date, walk on egg shells. We have a couple over here that almost got that free healthcare milestone. But just missed it.

That can be taken away anytime. Nothing is guaranteed, not even a contract.

We’ll soon find out if O’Brien had the same set of balls for TForce Freight as he does for UPS. Will he and the negotiating committee have the guts to call a strike if TFI comes back with a shot contract?

He doesn't work for either company, makes a large 6 figure salary and will collect 3 different pensions. He will be just fine no matter what happens .

Ridiculous, go back and check the teamsters. Org website, ABF got plenty of attention.
Just as it was in 2018, UPS sucked all the air out of the room. That being said I am glad UPS sold freight. Hopefully for the future the contract will expire on a different date or at least a different year.

They did tell ABF anything about the the contract until it was approved by the 2 man committee.
