If you knew anything at all you would know the dock guys tanked the vote after seeing us drivers link up with the Teamsters. It wasn't a no vote to join a union .it was a we picked the wrong union to join .

Richard Beers: There wasn't money according to NCT management in 2009 but they gave themselves bonuses. If you have questions about what they are looking into getting for us give 107 a call.

So let's look at this $116 a week for medical or $67 a month for dues and medical is covered 100%
    That's a raise not a paycut .

Dues are prorated based on your pay scale. 2-1/2 times your hourly.

Right I'm just using $67 as an example
People are saying that they are going to be paying union dues but if u take away the medical payment an add the
Dues it's thousands back in your pocket

What you might want to look at is New Century's filing to go public. I don't believe the company has made money since 2005. Sure, they have a Wall Street firm that funds them but that doesn't mean that will continue should the company go union. I also saw that someone posted the salaries of some of the company's leadership. Those numbers are actually quite low for those type of positions. My view is that the company might not survive if they go union.

If you two (driveforfree and alborland) don't take this petty argument to private message we will have a problem. And by we I mean you two. The rest of the members do not want to see this preschool type behavior here.

I thought dues could be like 120$ per month, so is that 67$ number really accurate? For all we known, dues will be way above what you're quoting.

same thing i posted on the other thread the union FALSIFIED that document, its on their Facebook page the fonts are wrong, the stats are wrong and Hoovers doesnt offer a report that looks like that...

Sad they have to try those scare tactics to get things going

Dues will be 2/12 to 3 hours of you hourly pay per month.example top driver makes 22.15 an hour your dues will be no more than 66.45 a month. Once again on Facebook search New Century Transportation Teamsters there are posts with all the info that may answer all your questions. I hope I answered your question

Hey Drive and Drive I suggest you do your homework. Because so far everything out of your mouth are uneducated accusations! That Hoovers/Dunn and Bradstreet report came directly from the source and has been reviewed by lawyers before that info was released! You and your buddies should get with the program and realize anything you say and do will not make a difference in the outcome of the vote.

So let me see if I make 22.15 an hour I have to pay 66 bucks a month plus an additional 500 bucks to join ? Ok so what do the drivers get for all that coin ?? Please educate me because I only made it out of high school and to ME this looks like another huge pay cut. 66 a month heck that's more than my cable bill. So please tell me I get free food or free gas with this !! Convince me why I should give you my hard earned cash !!
