So, lets let Blackwater and Mercenary guy's handle things??? It's easy to point out these problam's, it's another to solve them....:coffee1:

Nope, the first responsibility our government has according to the Constitution is to raise up and support a military for the national defense. I was only referring to the outrageous costs the government pays in it's contracts. It even has an official term like "government price inflation" or something like that. I can't remember exactly what it is, but when the government places a contract it expects and demands to pay a drastically higher price than the private sector. I've even seen this practice go down as far as a local school district. I used to work in central receiveing at a school district in St. Louis and saw the purchase orders every day, they paid outrageous prices for everything, all at taxpayer expense.

I heard the roads were pretty bad on I-44 and a LTU driver layed one over around the scales, anybody know if he's OK? Alot of car's in the medium and the ditch, but that was the only big truck..

Obama Recess Appointments: Justice Department Says They Are Constitutional

On Jan. 4, Obama appointed Richard Cordray, a former attorney general of Ohio, to be the first director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Obama also appointed two Democrats and a Republican to the National Labor Relations Board that day. There was stiff Republican opposition to creating the new consumer agency, which was authorized in the financial regulation law, and Republicans have argued that the labor board has tilted toward unions under Obama's Democratic administration

When the republicans are back in charge, employers will start to invest and hire people again.

I wouldn't hold your breath if your waiting on the republicans to take back control, especially if Ron P. splits off and runs 3rd party on the American elect ticket. Ron P is going to have enough delegates to get a primetime key-note address at the convention. But if he slits away from the republicans, he will take around 17%-25% true believers in Ron P. with him. They are part of the republican base. I see no way Mitt(I like firing people), can win. context or not, that's the way it's going to be put out there in a billion dollar's worth of campaign ads......:coffee1:.....+ I think the repub's might gain in the senate, but they are going to loose seats in the house.

I guess all the LTU guy's are keeping a low profile since they were taken over by Kevin B.(Regional Manager) from central. I wonder why they pulled them and LSD and LFS out of southern and incorparated the into the central region??:coffee1:

The same reason they pulled SC's from the NMP region into the eastern region. Regions like Dallas and Memphis has 17-18 service centers and St. Louis and others had 10-11. Balancing them out to a more even number lets the staff(DOO, HRG, RSM, Sales) more effectively divide their time among the employees involved.

Oh, ok. Everything is top secret around con-way:coffee1: so that leads to speculation and rumors. Did you see anything on the accident report about the LTU Driver?:coffee1:

It's not top secret. If you were in the service centers affected I'm sure they now all the reasons for the change. As far as the driver from what I gather he is doing fine. I don't have any first hand knowledge though.

I would like to reply on the part about some individuals want to do away with the Constitution.what we have in politics today.I wouldn't call leaders nor would I call them true Americans
The reason why some people want to do away with our Constitution is because its a constant reminder about our founding fathers and to the highest degree of intelligence that they possessed.I can't find any politicians in office today that have those kind of attributes.that my friend perturbs those that don't want the Constitution.
Another reason why they are not

true Americans.True Americans would never take advantage of their office despite those that they represent. The laws they pass should be abided by all.not just us.True Americans stand for us all.True Americans don't cherry pick the ones they want to help and those that they feel should go to hell in a hand basket.
We have a lack of unity in our country today.this lack of unity was devised a long time ago by our supposed leaders.to break us down.to divide us.to create factions and class wars.to prove this to be a fact.lets just take a look at how some feel about unions today compared to those of yesteryear.people of yesteryear felt good about having a real job.a job that could realistically raise a family and put a little change in their savings.believe it or not those real jobs were in a union shop.that was yesteryear.today many of the real jobs have diminished.a lot of them shipped overseas some.of them just vanished.for the most part unions did not cause these demises.again I harken back to the beauty of the design of supposed leaders years ago.corporate taxes were raised.people started seeing their power of unity brought down.because these jobs shutdown and they couldn't make up the money they had been earning.less money earned more angry people.consequently the easiest entity they could point their finger at was unions.unions broke us this union broke us that.el contrar my friend.
We had the had the best economic growth in history of the world under unions.
That's a proven fact.ladies and gentleman.we have been systematically broken down.our pride our families our jobs and more.that is what our politicians have done to us.To me that isn't very American.a true American.if that is what you believe.then you have been on the global koolaid to long.God Bless

I agree with your post, but I would like to know who you blame for this systematic break down you speak of. Can you give us some names?

You know that little bit about the European style socialist government till the money runs out ? That seems to be the same with a capitalistic society where your only as good as your money , when the money runs out nobody knows ya . The more money ya got the better capitalism treats ya .

My take away from this post is that you have a victim mentality, you're perfect fodder for the left to pick you off. When is the last time, if ever, that you voted for a republican?
