Enjoy it. When those furloughed guys come back it will be back to reality. That’s why I jumped ship and went to UPS. Already on a 4 day sleeper run, and making the same money on UPS bottom scale as I was on Fedex top scale. Oh and the retirement and healthcare is better. I spent 11 years at FedEx freight, the furloughs and EMERGENCY coding were the last straws for me.

Out of St Louis. Never really look at the gross but net is always around 1500. I claim 0. I don’t look at the gross I just get mad at all the taxes.

Dispatch would hold loads if they didn’t have 2 full loads going out or coming back. Then would have a purchase or a VIA come get it while drivers on the bid would sit at home. They claimed it was because of the shutdowns

Yeah don’t think I’m buying into one article as the data that is true for right now and not opinionated doesn’t point to it dying out at all. Research what’s going on in Texas, especially at the Mexican border.
