We have two of those in our fleet. I had to drive one for two weeks while my truck was at Ryder. Honestly it's a simple concept. Right stick is the hi-low selector and the left stick is the splitter.

A bit pedantic but those two trucks also have no power steering, no air conditioning and no AM/FM radio. Not a fun truck to bump docks with.
