OK, so what he said it basically comes down to a feeling. As long as each side negotiates in good faith this can go on for years. 2yrs and they agreed to have hot water in the bathrooms so 2yrs from now what other BS thing will be agreed? What brand soda machine in the breakroom.
You say 2years they've negotiated you must have forgotten the appeals process XPO protesting election results.

Negotiations don't start the day after certification. Scheduling location agendas etc. Believe it or not it does take years. Even union companies negotiate new contracts for years. It's a complex convluded system a lot of legal BS. It'd be nice if it were simple but it's not.

Not trying to hijack this thread but here is where we in carhaul are in our contract. Expired August 31 2016 has been voted down 2 times and still in talks as of today with still nothing to bring back to us. So like tp says it all takes time on the first one and in our case one that's been around for years. To all the guys/gals that voted yes stay strong ,it's just not the money it's work rules job protection ect that can't be changed on a whim "nuff said everybody stay safe

Ah yes a cut and paste from a blog site that pick and chooses what posted. If the don't like what you say they don't post it.
Ah yes it is a cut and past. But it tell you what's going on with the place's that are trying to organize and what the company is trying to do about. It was an answer to a question. It has nothing to do weather the adm of the blog like your post or not.

Sad part is they had 4 drivers travel along the east coast spouting off about the evils of the union. Cheaper at $100 per hour than $350.

XWC votes today. They have endured 3 weeks of captive audience meetings with management and union busters lies and even threats of violence towards family members. All of which is well documented.

The company fights very hard and spends a lot of money on the supposed fruitless effort of their employees organizing. If they no they will never agree to a contract what's their worry. Hmmm.

Win or lose I respect them for their courage to stand up to the threats and misinformation to make their position better

So you're saying management is threatening violence against employees families? I have trouble believing that
