I just heard in the break room @ 309 that YRC is proposing a change of operations. Has anyone else heard this?
Wait till it's in black and white. Until then, you have much more to think about.

Roadway also has the dubious distinction of having employees liberate the "oscars"
This thread was re-started by Ripper. It had been dormant since April. Could Ripper be a troll just to restart the Y vs R crap that is a divide and conquer method? We have more important things to discuss right now than rehashing old crap. The present is stressful enough, let's not give this troll any ammo!!
The reason the R system was kept.It is the cheapest to use.Y and R with the C couldn't afford to continue running the Yellow system. It was too costly. The software that Y used was of the sole proprietary kind.Meaning any business that wants to use it has to pay a fee. That fee was quite expensive. The cuts were also made in management. If a company isn't willing or can't pay the supervision and bright mind trusts that both companies had. Then there is also a cut in that department. It doesn't take long for business to fail. When that business had world class leadership.Debt starts to pile up in a hurry and loss of customers.
No it was too expensive to bring R out of the dinosaur age & put y software in place, cheaper for y to join the dinasaurs & substandard forward movement , after r system lost too many trailers & freight ask them which way they wish they would have gone.
