Technically they made a profit. How did they make it? Lowest paid employees, not paying into pension fund at acceptable levels, and high employee turnover.

Without the givebacks, they are still below water. So no kudos to James and Jamie. Success should be by they tun a profitable business with your model. Not from the employees wallets!

Ya gotta walk before you can run. Hopefully the trend will continue and we can all be back on track soon enough.

I will take a profit over a loss any time...Let's move forward it is what it is........
 
We have no control of operating ratio. that is a managment controlled intangible. Schedule of linehaul drivers and lack there of drivers. Lets not forget that all that nice fluff freight we pick up cuz no. Other trucking company will move it next to nothing like YRC.

Pricing and dumping the non profitable freight is the initiative that has made YRC Freight
profitable the last 2 quarters.It seemed for a long time the prestige of having the most billions in revenue vs. showing a profit was the objective.
The thing we all need to remember, the pension will never be secure, even with the upcoming cuts, without the survival of YRCW.

yrcw must survive no doubt or no pension for any!! they are the largest employer period!!
