I've had to move for (we... Wife and I) for the second time in 10 months.
To retire we had to sell the dead weight we were in and build (again) something simple to live in. Which we did. And what is here is paid off. Point of doing all we have done.
We lived in a 50+ year old farmhouse for the past 10 months. Free. So can't beat the rent. But paid the price in stink and dust and just no room in it. 900 Sq. Ft. house.
Down from. 2300 Sq ft.
Now we just spent four days moving all this crap again. And we really are not done yet. Moving. And the inside of the new place is not done. It's livable. But we have alot of work to do inside. Alot.
So this is our part time job for awhile. Finishing up.
I (we) know one thing. We never ever want to move again. Never.
So we don't need part time jobs. We have plenty to keep us busy. None of it was intentional. But things always happen unexpectedly in life. But we always make it work. From the start 42 years ago to now. Sh*t happens and you deal with it and move on.
Right as of now I (we) have no time for part time work.
Thank goodness I don't have to drive to work.
I just get out of bed and I'm at work already. Lol.
It's all good. Worst part is over. (Contractors. Plumbers. Electricians. Tilers.. On and on.) they were all little nightmares!
Personally I'd rather not have anything to do.
I will get to the point of that. Nothing to do.
Have had some of the "nothing to do" at times because of delays. And I like it.
So if you don't have anything to do right now just wait.
Something will come up. Hahaha.
