Yellow | Future of Buffalo After change

Master Pool Bid

That is why article 8 Sec 6 Was negotiated, However it looks to me like due to the currrent economic situation with YRC our contract will be subverted with the approval of the Change Committee. Cannot say that for sure because no Committee decision has been rendered yet but the chatter tells me this is the case and unfortunataly I am not confident that our committee members understand the article that I referenced.

You gave your self away using logic and quoting the contract. I was off for quite a while after the big crash but like jeff says we always come back. Good hearing from you.

I hope it all works out for you, Tell Farleo we hit a record hi of 72 here in KC today HEHE! Last I talked to him it was -2 here and will get coooold again. Phoenix is not an option for me!! When I first saw the change proposal I thought it would be but that would only be under MASTER POOL BID!! Take care.

Good news for some. The number for available positions remaining in Buffalo will be 109 instead of 85. Ask around your terminal. Should be posted soon.

After bidding, please put up new seniority list

Anyone have any updates for us ?

After the Buffalo bidding is completed and the company and the union know who is going to be leaving and who is staying, would somebody please put a NEW OFFICIAL seniority list up for YRC Tonawanda so those of us who are going to be laid-off know where we stand in the grand scheme of things. Thanks.:USA:

Yes, It should be up now. Unofficial though.

Eddy here's a general idea. I'm sure this is riddled with mistakes. I don't have the info in front of me. This is from memory and it was a long day. The accurate info will be at work though. This is just fast instead of right ....kinda like the whole change.

The active list at Yellow terminal as of 12-18 was 85.
Plus 5.
There will be 90 positions available on the road.

Some of New England was pushed South through Maybrook and out through Richfield. With the increase in freight density Middletown will be able to direct load more freight that will be run South of us and out to RFO. Here's the updated primaries and overlays. http://members.verizon.net/s4ndm4n1/Primary&Overlay-web.pdf

Yard and dock is not for me to comment on.
The new net loss number for the road should be -80 instead of -74 due to correction back to active list at Roadway on 12-18

They didn't want to keep two terminals in Buffalo. They couldn't fit all the freight from both terminals through Tonawanda so much will be diverted.

Buffalo increasing board to 150 drivers effective 03/09/2009.:dance::3dflagsdotcom_usa_2:clap:

Where do these people get there numbers from ? They have no clue , looks like everybody is working {on call but getting in} I feel sorry for the poor slobs that moved there families for nothing.

Hey Yard Horse,

If you want to question me in private that is one thing. You know me and we both came from Roadway, but since you want to try to pretend to be a big man in a public forum, so be it. I came by my numbers from three and only three sources. The International brotherhood of Teamsters, YRC, some guy named Vince and YRC an individual named Larry M. I start back on monday. Now, just curious wise ***, where do you get your numbers!!!:loser:

Was referring to the numbers the company provided ,{which it seems are way off} I have no clue what you are talking about.
