As a Roadway P&D driver you learn to take your time, take your breaks and lunch. I was not a slacker but the more stops you could do, the more they would give you.
I would go out on a Monday or Tuesday with 30 plus deliveries, work through my breaks and lunch and get them all off. Then on Wednesday I would go out with twenty deliveries, take my breaks and lunch and get them all done in the same amount of time. I was called into the terminal mangers office, and asked what's going on here? I explained to him what I was doing. His reply was, we want you to perform like you do on Monday and Tuesday every day of the week. That's when I said to myself, no mas. NO MORE.So I set the bar at one and fail.
