CF still had many of those when they closed. Tough tractor rode nice with a steering wheel from here to there. Loved to watch folks jump when firing them up with the air starters.

Roadway had some of those armored cars, they had a lot of problems with the heat and defrosters in them. You had to have a window open to close the doors.

I liked those as well as any truck we had, ours had great heaters.
The A C was beside driver's seat, 3406 Cats and mostly Cummins, 9 spd.
I never drove a truck with a better heater than the Louisville Ford.

The Louisvilles were good, the cabs were tight. The mid 70's White Road Boss were very good too. Defrosters were outstanding, melt the wiper blades.
