We had one crazy guy at Yellow Indy that always raced his Toyota to the max. Well- several did, actually. He went into a turn on our wet dock, hit the old dragline track, slid on the wet concrete, and slid sideways into the terminal electrical fuse box. Knocked out power to the terminal. Actually welded part of the lift to the fuse box. I have no idea why it didn't kill him, but he walked away just shook up.

I can file a grievance on your behalf for the mirror disagreement?

If it’s a mirror dispute, arbitration will be handled thru the Moldavian embassy in Cedar Rapids. Cases are running 6-9 months behind, ahem due to COVID

I have never owned or will I own a personal vehicle from a foreign mfg. I will say though without a doubt if I was a purchasing person for a company the only forklifts would be Toyota.

A lot of Toyota forklifts are made in various plants in Indiana.

Reminds me of a tale from the 1980s. A City out on Long Island decided to cancel its contract for a road grader (think it was a Komatsu if I remember right?) And go with the John Deere model, thinking they were supporting American Jobs. Turned out the cancelled one was made in Peoria Illinois, and the John Deere was made in Japan. Today, we never really know...
