However. To all LAX employees currently working or just laid off. Ask yourself the following questions.
Is your health insurance cut off? Lax is self funded, no claims money or admin fees paid by LAX=no insurance. Call CIGNA directly. If they say you are not covered, you should inquire with someone about how to get on another plan or if you have a spouse that has insurance switch immediately! You only have 31/days to switch to a spouses plan.

To those working for free. Is the state of VT happy about paying LAX employees unemployment while he works them for free? Does he still have WC insurance??? What if you get hurt on the job? It's more than just pay checks my friends....please think and be smart about this and best wishes to all of you.

There has to be some checks and balances in place. Yes, there are SOME good people that work for this company, if you are any kind of human being ? But, where does all the money go? They kept saying they couldn't afford safety stuff but u can't afford not to do it as they've found out. I liked my job and I would go back if they change. Yes, they do treat their employees like dirt at times and it is shameful they won't pay us or even inform us! Unemployment will force us to find another job asap. I would join a class action suit if they pay us what we are owed. Just give us a resolution to all this crap now, dammit!

All LAND AIR employees that didn't get paid or have unpaid time comeing you need 2 get a hold of the DIVSONOF LABOR STANDARDS

All LAND AIR employees that didn't get paid or have unpaid time comeing you need 2 get a hold of the DIVSONOF LABOR STANDARDS
 
So I guess they haven't worked the payroll. The labor board said the claim takes about 3-4 weeks so thanks land air now I'm behind on my bills for helping you....

Any one that is surprised by the current chain of events with LAX has been wearing blinders, I wish you well in a new job search and I am sure that your experience of driving poor equipment has made you better and worthy drivers

Who said were all drivers. There's still office and dock workers who are left high and dry. Yes the company was doing bad but now and days a job is a job. Be consoderate a lot with family's are left in a rut because of this.
 
have you seen this man..whereabouts unknown... last seen bashing land air express owner and employee's 7:28pm yesterday... maybe not best to attack people that have a far reach!!! proceed with caution!!! LOL

I'm glad you can take positives out of all this. Survive, or just just lay in wait til it does finally sink. Any truck that was on streets today were just moving freight that's TWO weeks old. We are a next day carrier correct? Once i see some new freight in dock, will feel better. Like to know hiw many accounts we still have. Guessing not enough to keep us all working.
