If it was fair and I could vote again NO WAY would be my answer still .
Who are you kidding? If it was fair and I could vote again NO WAY would be my answer still .
Na , I would of had a better job and could afford the Big Fatty Hot Dogs my old friend S-Breeze .Who are you kidding?
You would miss out on all those hotdogs, no way.
I think I would be an elevator repair man. Job security. Once it's installed in the building someone has to fix it. Strong Union.
IMHO, I would choose it again if it were the same era. I would NOT choose it today,I can't answer it.
It's good money and benefits for uneducated people. You can buy a house and raise a family on it. I did it and my wife doesn't work. Raised 3 kids.
But it takes more of your life than most other jobs ever would. Way too much of your life imo.
Too tough a question to answer for me.
Again I am reminded about a song. Roger Miller, who was a master at simple lyrics, said in a song, "You can be happy if you've a mind to". I also remember an older man said, "I'm not a failure, I just started out on the bottom & I like it here".It's all about finding contentment in your life. Some find it, others never do.
But can you rollerskate in a buffalo herd?Again I am reminded about a song. Roger Miller, who was a master at simple lyrics, said in a song, "You can be happy if you've a mind to". I also remember an older man said, "I'm not a failure, I just started out on the bottom & I like it here".
Yeah, but even that has its ups and downs……….I think I would be an elevator repair man. Job security. Once it's installed in the building someone has to fix it. Strong Union.
You do know that Vic's middle name is Otis?Yeah, but even that has its ups and downs……….
I couldn’t wait for Vic any longer….
Your retirement is much like mine.Yes, I would do it all over again but I would do it differently.
Wouldn't have stayed at 2 of the 3 companies I worked for and would have never left the first one, hindsight being 20/20.
Could I start all over again back in the 70's with the cushy trucks they have today?
Better yet, I like what I have today. Retirement with no traffic, weather, no cameras, no ELD's, no schedules to meet, etc. Kind of nice actually!
I can go all day long without even knowing what day of the week it is??Your retirement is much like mine.
I can go all day long doing absolutely nothing and never know when I'm finished.
Your retirement is much like mine.
I can go all day long doing absolutely nothing and never know when I'm finished.
Doing nothing is actually doing something in my book.I can go all day long without even knowing what day of the week it is??
The first month I was retired all I did was sit in the rocker/recliner. The second month I started to rock just a little.Your retirement is much like mine.
I can go all day long doing absolutely nothing and never know when I'm finished.
