After almost 10 years under master freight and 15 here both have their good and bad. Master freight is more restricted and depending on what supplemental you're under the work rules can be quiet different. Here we really need more teeth to stop the abuses of the contract but we're more nimble and able to change more rapidly to suit the needs of the coustomer.

Can't merger 2 different contract together. I hear fedex may be selling their freight division. If TFI bought them it would make TFORCE the biggest LTL in North America. And there is language in the new contract to make it easier to organize a company that TFI buys.

Now the rumor is FedEx is for sale. First because UPS tossed its LTL division. And 2nd because of the new contract language that very specific: Non Union acquisitions will be entailed and unionized!

Our guys were hearing that from FedEx city guys over a month ago.....the FedEx forums here laughed like it was a joke when I posted it over there.
