Actually in Minnesota "hang 10" is what you do with two 6-paks of beer, bring 2 cans inside the motor vehicle with ya and just hang the other 10 cans off the side view mirrors to keep them properly chilled....."hang 10" although that figure does proceed down in the count over time , that other stuff OP and Van's ...... gibberish to me, much the same way mukluks and parkas are to you.

On arrival, it will be raised high above the downtown area, where at midnight, it will be lowered to the ground in front of a crowd that will probably be near 500,000 partying in the streets.
