1. So the economy has slid because of Obama??
We all knew last year that things would get worse before they got any better. And more importantly he told us this back in October/November instead of lying to the American people. At least he is doing something instead of burying his head in the sand.
2.About ending the war. He said he wanted to end the war in Iraq.
Osama bin ladin and the taliban is hiding in Afghanistan. That's where the focus should have been from the very begining .....so why not fight there
3. Hope and change.
I would much rather be told the truth than lied to just to calm my nerves. This is what the last administration did to America for the last 8 years. At least he's speaking to us like an adult.

In closing
I live in a red state and I'm blessed to live in a nice upper middle class community.
Most of my neighbors are white collar and republicans. 4 years ago almost all most of them had Bush yard signs, last almost none had Mcain /Palin signs. It's like they weren't publicly endorsing Obama but they realized they weren't gong to be used as pawns this time around.
Oh yeah, my neighbor across the street is a plumber who has his own business who just happens to be a black guy and and quite successful. He proudly displayed his Obama sign.:smilie_132:
