Yellow | Fed ex playing games with the rdwy/yellow customers

mr **** i mean freight thats why fed ex national drivers sit by the phone on call everyday. no set schedule no set time. that must be fun not knowing what time to go to work no 8 hr guarantee or 40hr per week.freight volumes are down. like i quoted batter up youll be the first over the wall. home run. it must be nice to wear that gay as- uniform and work like a independent contracter which your not thats called a puppet.

What the heck? I do the same thing here. Waiting by the phone is the only life I have known for the 8 1/2 years I've been here.

Anybody else see fed-x's new add on TV.
Saw one the other day not directed at yrc this time but at UPS.!
Add said straight out that If customers wanted to save 15% on all thier package shipments to call fed-x cause UPS would be 15% higher......wow

lets see , been at fed ex for only 4 years. start at 9:00 am every morning, done by 6:00 7:00 every night. drive same tractor and trailer every day. in the same route. get paid 21.60 hr with no dues. gay uniform?? i feel proud to wear the uniform. i see very few yrw in uniform why?? no pride?? proud to wear the fed ex uniform.

Whats wrong with it is that the only company out there advertising using other companies names in a degrading way for thier bennefit is Fed-x!
How about if UPS started an add and used the safety specs of fed-x and showed a couple laying on there side in the median then left a comment.
For a few dollars more.....we will get it there intact!
The point is. Fair play is selling a product with your own services and price.....its not right to belittle or bash others manipulate customers.
 
After reading all these posts I just have to say, the best way to break a union is to divide and conquer.

Maybe that is the point of the of the flyer?

Every trucking company has their wrecks, if you point out Fedex's, you got to point out Yellow's or any other carriers for that matter. The fact is Fedex will get the customers shipment where it is going faster than the union guys will. I have worked for yellow, I have seen how they operate, and I'm not impressed. Don't worry, we will see who is left when the dust settles, and there will be a lot more people wearing PURPLE!!!!!!

Want to talk about divide and conquer tactics?....better consult your history books first. You can start with the mistakes of a man named ಠ▄ಠ....enough said there!

Again you all get sensative to the issue...not the point!
It is wrong to use other carriers names in advertisment and belittle them!
But is there some reason that my reference got you so upset!?!
Keep handing out the rotton propaganda and keep right on using negative references in your advertisment. I personally think it has a negative effect on the customers anyhow.
I know that the laborers are not directly responsible for this so my assault is not directed at you but the company.
 
what's wrong with a good old game of baseball. don't get your panties all bunched up.theres enough freight for all of us.some people charge more some charge less.
