James N.............. was it worth it to screw with people to the point that it blew up in your face? You know what you did, you claimed a man quit his job, so he could not collect unemployment, then you towed his car and played dumb when he came to retrieve it. What did you accomplish? Why did you not just leave well enough alone? Did you think you could get that off with no repercussions? You got humiliated in front of your whole staff and for what??? He did nothing to you until you provoked him to open a can of whoop a$$ on you. Imagine all the people laughing at you..........

I believe she's talking about the terminal manager in 681 (charlotte) who got a good old fashioned beating....remember, these are desperate times, this could have happened anywhere, to anyone......

Maybe this will solve the puzzle

What happened at 681 today? I heard James N. got his ***** whopped in his office by some dude that used to work there........ Something about a car James N. tried to steal or something

If any of you see the 681 TM, tell him you know who still got the car despite his efforts to stop him. LOL LOL LOL!!! LMFAO!!!

Former employee who hadn't worked for YRC since January, left his broke down car in 681 parking lot for 4 months, and wouldn't remove it. 681 TM had it towed two weeks ago. The man came by 681, didn't see his car, went in and attacked TM for having car towed.

That sounds a little more believable.

WOW!! My Kind of GUY!! Reminds me of when my little brother was growing up....
He was 9 yrs old and had never spoken. One evening at dinner, Mom fixed him a bowl of soup. He took one bite, spit it out and said, "MOM, this soup tastes like sheep-dip!". Mom looks at Dad and says, "WOW, it's unbelievable, he can talk!" Dad says, "Son, why haven't you talked before now?" Brother says, "Well, up until now, the soup has been OK"

really.......????

Is it at all possible the TM could have avoided this? Or is it possible this TM acted maliciously to the point that he asked for it? Suppose he treated this former employee with respect and decency or maybe he did nothing but give this guy a hard time and allowed his staff to do the same?? Regardless of what brought them to this point, something happened to bring all this about. I know how Roadway can be and I would bet anything it could have been avoided. What kind of car was it? Was it some production car or was it something else? How long had the former employee work for the company? Was he notified to move his car? Is he the only one to have ever parked a car there? Have any others ever been towed? Did the man ask where his car was? And was he told when/if he asked? There is alot none of us will ever know because we were not there, but one things for sure. If that man calmly asked where his car was and the TM would not tell him, how could he possibly have thought there would be no conflict? Let me be perfectly clear, I do not condone violence, but when does the hurting stop. What did YRC do to this man to set him off? We all have stories, frankly I don't see how some of you guys can work for them for 30 years or more b/c in my opinion they are a$$holes. Must be the money, but they took 10% of that back. Many of us are quick to judge without all the facts. One has to hear from both sides before they could effectively form an opinion.

That also explains the mysterious chalk mark on the tire of my car. The only places it had been parked were at home, at work and at a few stores. Had me baffled.

Let's see now - you leave your broke down car on private property for four months and don't remove it in all that time and then you're annoyed because it was finally towed away! Give me a break. Where does personal responsibility fit into this picture!

here, here, well put.....for all of you, especially management who are always so quick to judge.....remember, there are always two sides to every story......

I don't think punching out the TM is the answer here guys...

First he probably gets and assault charge and a record and will probably have a hard time getting a good job.

I think this is childish behavior if you ask me
