Been on vacation the last week getting a sun burn in the carribean. Left my bid picks with the TM. Got back had text messages saying its all messed up! (Suprised? Didnt Think so ). Everyone had to bid their runs even the guys that are transferring to other terminals. Then we will bid again LOL Last week the TM told two guy to report to their new terminal on Monday (yesterday). One of the drivers lives there so he decided to stop by on Friday and introduce himself to the TM of his new terminal. The TM didnt know anything about this linehaul postition or had any equipment for him. Told the driver to just go back to his home terminal till he finds out what is going on LOL. The bids dont go into effect till Feb 15th. OMG I am so glad our TM knows whats going on. I will cut him some slack as this is his first bid process and rather than being informed of how it works he is like the rest of management, just throw it up on the wall and see what sticks.
 
I talked to the Operations Manager at FXNL today and he said all the linehaul positions were filled from within. But he is looking for 4 P&D drivers and said he will call me back tomorrow. I do have a interview at Fedex Freight on thursday.

$62,000 to $90,000 i think you could buy a nice lot and build in the area. I know it is isolated but it could work for a lot of people.How many transfered and how big was the board to start with????

If you are referring to Shamrock, here are the #'s I've been told....32 plus 4 contractor trucks.....5 or 6 transferred. That's not in stone, just what I was told.
 
Thats all we can do is wait and see. Here in CHR SOME HAVE SAID THEY WERE TRANSFERRING but have now decided not to so your right time will tell.
 
I done some checking today and there were 4 or 5 that transferred to Shamrock.....All from the West I think.
 
hrt delayed opening

my hrt meet person says bids are delayed due to hrt not being ready to open due to lack of personel. has anyone else heard this?

I heard from a reliable source ;) that Hartford's break debut will be delayed at least a month due to staffing issues. I don't know if this will affect the system rebid, or only those involving Hartford....
 
Great Day, Did nobody in the high ups see this coming. What a mess. I mean, am I missing something. This whole bid has been one big cluster and nobody not even upper management seems to know whats going on. We run slam out of equipment and bid on runs that were not going to be able to run, I wonder when the siren is going to go off. This has really started to get funny.
