You think they take now.....let YRCW go down. Then ur really in troubled waters. Kiss alot of the benefits goodbye..
Take your head out of the clouds.....It's all corporate GREED....BOTTOM LINE.....
We still have one of the best packages around. As for myself, I do not want to shoot myself in the foot and have to go to work for Eng____, S____ or one of the other outfits out there where I don't know if I will have a load tomorrow or not.
Not too bad, Im just glad I have a job. This countries going through tough times right now. And if this helps Con-way stay on top of their competitors, Im all for it. Im staying positive because being negative over this isnt going to help anyone. Lets all ban together and help Conway be all it can be. Were all in this together, lets go! Lets make Conway proud of us!
CERTAINLY NOT T V MILLER OR JUST HAVE TO LABRIE. WE HAVE HAD TO FOOT THE BILL FOR THIS COMPANY FOR THE LAST FIFTEEN YRS.I MYSELF LOST A YR`S VACATION THAT IS FIVE WKS PLUS THE MATCHING 401K ! EVERTIME THEY MAKE A MISTAKE LIKE BUYING A T/L CARRIER BECAUSE THEY WERENT SMART ENOUGH TO RUN CONWAY T/L. IKNOW TIMES ARE HARD ,BUT WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO BE THE BANK? THEY SAY THE POWERS THAT BE TOOK A CUT TO BUTT WE`RE NOT SURE HOW MUCH OR WE CAN`T SAY. WE DIDN`T HIT THE PROJECTED GOLD TO BAD WE ARE ALL SHARE HOLDERS TOOOOOOOO! BUTT AGAIN WE TAKE THE HIT. IHAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY SINCE 1984 AND ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!:mfight::USA:
I forgot about them giving us the 401k to make up for the pension. That does **** me off too. I am trying to stay possitive but that pisses me off!
It's no different at my company (YRC). Yellow bought Roadway, USF, and Shanghai Jaiyu (in China). The money spent on the last 2 purchases, is equivalent to their debt load. Without those purchases, Roadway & Yellow would probably be doing just fine, regardless of the economy....especially Roadway. It's a shame to see what the corporate greed does to all these fine companies. The end result is we the workers, have to be the ones that bail out these companies for executive and management mistakes.
