Wait a minute, you would be willing to pay $1200 to get a $1000 weeks vacation?Health care would be my guess as to what they go after next. It's such a 'hot button' issue right now. They'll be looking to rifle through a co-pay deal during negotiations, I'm sure. Personally, I'd be willing to pay up to...say...$100/month for the same plan we have now if...IF...they restored the vacation issue back to pre-2013 levels.

And the brainwashing has begun, this is only the beginning, prepare for more of these and they will make damn sure that we all watch them. Then as we watched the team report today for last quarter results a couple were all upset that the company showed an or of 102.2. We are in trouble come this contract if these people don't start using common friggn sense
5 % * 900.00 per week is 45 bucks times 50 weeks is about 2250.00. Someone thinks giving up 2250.00 to gain 1 week of paid vacation for about a grand in income is the way to go? Now wonder they drive a truck. For a fact they would never make it as a CFO. von.I heard some new hires say that awhile back. They said sort of same thing. They said they would vote for another 5 percent pay cut to get a weeks vacaction. Then as we watched the team report today for last quarter results a couple were all upset that the company showed an or of 102.2. We are in trouble come this contract if these people don't start using common friggn sense
I beg your pardon sir. But we prefer it to be called, YRC's alleged junk equipment ...thank you...And FedEx , Brand XPO, Estes, OD, and all the other LTL carriers have found that substantially increasing employee pay and benefits,.....in some cases, beyond what Union LTL carriers pay,............. greatly mitigates the effects of the driver shortage.
And,......All those companies mentioned seem to be running much better equipment,......certainly much newer,.......than ABF is......Let's not talk about YRC's "alleged" equipment.......
O.K. Mr. Soehl,......... We've properly identified the problems for you,........Lying, cheating CEO's manipulating the numbers to falsely show a loss......
Are you going to take an aggressive stance, and not fall for the CEO's snickering up their sleeves at the Teamsters?......
Or are you going down the same path as your disgraced predecessors, and join in the communal sobbing and rending of the garments when the employers cry for pity and relief from the "onerous" provisions of what remains of the NMFA?
From what I hear, YRC is already gearing up for another announcement of an offer to purchase ABF,.....ohh,.....say,....in about a year or so.........
Hey! It worked so well last time,.........
