FedEx Freight | Deplorable and shameful or incompetent? You decide

When JOT opened we had a couple of city drivers follow the freight down there. They were told they have 2 years to come back and keep their seniority, but, they had to apply for any opening at our center for the next 2 years. If they didn't apply or turned down the offer to transfer back at any time then the 2 year time limit goes away. So it sounds good that you have 2 years to decide, but it also sounds like there is a lot of fine print in the policy.
 
Exactly what I was thinking...Lube starts a thread and I give an objective response and get ridiculed for not toting the company negativity line!! :idunno:

One must realize that there are no rules or policies. They are guidelines to be interpreted. Sometimes on a daily basis to address any issues that arise. Sometimes more often as this afternoons issues require a different interpretation than this mornings.

Hence no official rule book, nor do they want one I’m sure.
