Yellow | I have a suggestion for those of you who want to vote NO and close us down

Obviously the Teamsters are not excited about the concessions. After listening to the experts I have to change my vote from a no to a yes. There is still no guarantee that the company will even survive even after the concessions. I will be taking a leave of absence soon afterwards. This will by us time to look for another job. Unfortunately, this job is no longer a career. It's a sad day for YRCW employees.
It is a shame that your wise observation of YRCW financial situation is being wasted for most who post here. I hope that those who understand the dire consquences of a no vote prevail. What I really don't understand is if good jobs with several weeks of vacation and no co-pay health insurance are waiting for everyone then why are so many concerned about YRCW?????

It is more like your Yes votes have killed the company and turned us in to a JB hunt equivalent. You baby's with no balls could have forced the hand of management last time to straighten out there ways, instead you took the hit and they kept walking the same old walk.
I for one am going to vote this time just like every other time No. When they lock the gate you will walk out crying and I will hold my head High because I am a Man of conviction.

It is your fault YES MEN!!
amen,thank you brother.:1036316054::452:

Hello , did ABF close after the no vote??Quit being a Me-guy and live up to the name Teamguy . VOTE NO!!!They will come back with something better...

Since you all will be throwing away a ton of money to conjob, fedex and wall streeters who will take your loads, your money and leave you with nothing, I submit that in exchange for becoming the laughingstock of the freight world and killing YRC and ABF within a year:

Ask conjob to give us some money for the holiday season to buy gifts for our families, maybe fedex can kick in some money for the bills. Wall street who are laughing as we speak can finance upgrades to the projects I think Obama should build us as we'll likely be on welfare a while. Wall street types can sit in million dollar homes laughing at the dumb union working man with the hundreds of millions theyve made with our destruction and laugh about how we laid down without vaseline and without a fight-calm submission. yes, lets all go from being hard working men to wlefare bums. And that is exactly what may of us will be-losers.

you need to change your handle to ANTIteamGIRL

the only guys left workin' are fat, lazy, ** guys anyway. too afraid to go out and get another job... might have to work for a livin'

Let's not start that again Thanks !

Don't even need to read this guys post to know he's corporate... but if you do read his posts, you never see anything negative about this deal!! the only ones that see it as not negative is corporate! even the yes voters can see this deal is going to screw us! but there voting yes do to fear!..... Glad none of the Yes voters are in my position, there Kid would be sitting in some foster home! but they would still have a worthless job!

I think there is a real chance here to make a BIG difference in the LTL industry! If YRC folds, theres going to be a BIG hole in the LTL market that will need to be filled fast!

No company out there has the man power in place to take the onslaught of freight without hiring us!

"IF" we can ALL be men, and realize our worth as experienced LTL drivers, and DO NOT take a driving job for less then 100% scale!
They need us!! if there not getting anyone to fill there holes, there going to have to sweeten the deal!!

unemployment will last about a year! the trucking company's wont if they don't find drivers to deliver the freight! And for any of those who remember the last time we went on strike for a month, the non union carriers tried to cash in on our customers! what happened was they lost more of there old customers then they gained new ones do to not being able to service all the influx of freight! the same will happen here!

Use your heads guys!! this just might be the BEST opportunity we've had in a LONG time!!

I really want to see the good things that could come from a no vote, but I really don't want to see the bad things that could come after a no vote.

This is the dumbest post i've ever read. You actually think that all the unemployed drivers and dockworkers will turn down employment until we all get the wages we feel we deserve? Listen if that was the case the entire trucking industry would be unionized. There would be no J.B. Hunt's paying .30 cents a mile. The fact is, if there is a job out there someone will take it. Too many of you are treating this like high stakes poker. The trouble is, I don't think any of you "they're bluffing" posters would go to the local casino and bet sixty thousand or so on one hand of poker. Noone likes this :shit:ty situation, but there is only one way to vote and that is yes........................

Too Late, Already voted NO and mailed it in! Besides, theres 3 ways to vote! YES...NO...Or not at all. Only one makes sense to me! "NO" the other 2 would kill the Union in trucking all together! And i sure wouldn't want to work for YRC if these give backs and rules are implemented.

This isn't Burger king. You can't have something for nothing. Take a risk, you win or you lose.

Wow, it's really nice to see all the "no" sayers sticking together. Will you all stick together if the doors shut or will you all throw each other under the bus and play cut throat just to get what few jobs are out here?

they close these door 1 thing is for sure . I would never go near a freight company again in my life . id sell pencils on the corner b4 id go through this crap the rest of my life.
b4 the bs you dont like it quite start ill tell you to dont even bother . ive payed my dues and will be here till they shut out the lights but i wont pay that light bill for them so they can waste more electricity .
why should i just up a quit when and if they close i can get 2 years of obama care and free courses at the local tech school

C'mon, you know what I'm saying. 25,000 people trying to fit in a LTL world that might hire less than half that. It can be brutal!

The question you need to ask is, how many of those 25k will retire?, get out of the industry? or just take a break?

Theres not going to be 25 thousand guys all going for the same jobs!... this is why we have so many Yes voters! ya'll realy dont think out of the box YRC has made for you!

To use a analogy, this is like the frog in the boiling water.... if you drop a frog in boiling water it will just jump out, but if you put the frog in room temp water and slowly increase the temp, it will cook without jumping out..
This is what YRC has done! 3 rounds of concession in less the a year and a half... they found there frog and its name is the Teamsters!
