So what recourse do you have should the company run around you? Fire you unjustly? Every golden star can get tarnished over time. If it's your azz or your supervisors, do you still feel you will be given consideration just because you are a good employee?

Look, it aint like that here..some people will say it is, but it is the minority opinion..Laredo is pissed because they didn't get the raise that some of us did..Conway messed that up, and will fix it.

Many companies do have debt. Nothing new. It's part of doing business. They have positive cash flow. Check out what the executives are pulling down against the balance statement. Seems to me they have plenty of cash at their disposal. You want to line their pockets rather than put a little more in yours?

I just don't think it will put a little more in my pocket. (and please dont say it will put more) I want them to stay profit strong and be around for a long while. I like the free enterprise system..you take the good with the bad..

You're workers are complaining nation wide. Same with FedEx. The company will dangle a carrot but don't be fooled.

There are no promises. But, you now have a voice. It is very possible to keep your current wage and have your benefits covered. Anything is possible. The point is, you would now have a voice. Let that voice be heard!

I do work for YRC. A company that is making history. Nobody thought we would survive the huge financial missteps of our former CEO, Bill Zollars. The Teamster's are responsible for my company to be able to continue to provide a living for some 32,000 workers nationwide. The Teamster's called out the banks wanting to turn the lights out on us. Our members ratified MOU's to help our company financially. Keep your mind open. Good night.

They sure don't. In a right to work for less state, any person whose company is union, is not required to join that union. They can be sc@bs that ride on the coat tails of others. Doesn't that paint a rosy picture? They will enjoy all the benefits of those that pay their dues. One thing they can never be rid of though. The sc@b handle will stick with them for life. Because that is all they are.

Nothing about yrc is making history. Unless you call the record number of consecutive quarters without a profit making history.
